Red Ruby Devon “picanha” rump from Pipers Farm, Devon wins The Times prestigious Foodie Award for Best Beef

Britain’s top chefs and experts chose their favour products for this year’s Great Taste awards.  Pipers Farm is a traditional butcher specialising in Red Ruby Devon beef reared on the hills and moors of the West Country.  Picanha is a tradional Brazilian cut, also known as top sirloin.  It was described by the judges as “richly marbled and succulent.”
